Inpatient treatment<\/h2>\n

If your pet needs inpatient care<\/strong> after surgery or due to a serious illness, it is in safe hands<\/strong> with us.<\/p>\n

Our clinic has modern, well-equipped inpatient wards that are separated by species<\/strong>. This allows us to ensure the calmest and most low-stress stay<\/strong> possible. Patients with infectious diseases are, of course, housed separately<\/strong> to ensure the highest hygiene standards and maximum safety. <\/p>\n

Throughout the entire stay, your pet will receive close monitoring<\/strong> from our veterinarians and veterinary nurses. Vital parameters, pain management, and medication are continuously monitored<\/strong> and adjusted individually. <\/p>\n

Our goal is to provide your pet with the best possible medical care while also offering as much rest and safety as possible<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Frequently asked questions about inpatient admission<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Your pet will be housed in its own spacious kennel that matches its size and individual needs. If medically necessary, warming or oxygen kennels are available. <\/p>\n

[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Will my pet be cared for and monitored regularly?” css=””]<\/p>\n

Yes. Our inpatients are continuously cared for by veterinarians and veterinary nurses. Depending on the condition, close monitoring is provided and medication, pain therapy, and infusions are adjusted individually. <\/p>\n

[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Will my dog be taken outside?” css=””]<\/p>\n

Dogs are taken outside for walks several times a day. If your dog has limited mobility, it will of course be assisted or carried. <\/p>\n

[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”How is care for cats organized?” css=””]<\/p>\n

Litter trays are provided in the cat kennels and are cleaned regularly. Cats are housed separately from dogs to minimize stress. <\/p>\n

Feeding is tailored individually. We provide dry food, wet food, and special diets. If your pet requires a specific medical diet, we kindly ask you to bring it with you. If your pet is unable to eat independently, it will be gently assisted by trained staff. <\/p>\n

A small item with a familiar scent, such as a blanket, a T-shirt, or a cuddly toy, is possible and can help your pet feel secure.
For hygiene reasons, however, we cannot accept baskets or cushions. Please only bring items whose possible loss would not be a problem for you. <\/p>\n

[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Are visits possible during the stay?” css=””]<\/p>\n

Visits are generally not recommended, as they mean additional stress for many animals. In exceptional cases (e.g., life-threatening illnesses), we will actively discuss a visit recommendation with you. Unfortunately, unannounced visits are not possible for organizational reasons. <\/p>\n

For infusions or intravenous medication, an indwelling venous catheter is placed. After removal, a pressure bandage is applied, which can be removed at home after 15\u201320 minutes. <\/p>\n
