Behavioral Medicine

Behavioral medicine involves treating patients with anxiety issues, aggression, or obsessive-compulsive disorders, as well as providing guidance on all types of fundamental training and educational questions.

During behavioral consultations, our specialized veterinarians address questions regarding training and undesirable behaviors in dogs and cats. A detailed initial consultation and an individual assessment of the animal allow for a specific diagnosis, followed by a customized therapy plan and specialized training. The resulting therapy plan is developed with you step-by-step, and we cooperate with your existing trainer whenever possible to find the right approach for your pet together.

This process may involve home visits or video-assisted training.

In addition, our veterinary clinic offers information evenings on various behavioral topics and first-aid courses to further train you in handling your pet. The certification of expertise (§11 LHundG) is also conducted by our specialized veterinarians to provide you with a knowledgeable point of contact directly.
