Dermatology
All diseases affecting the skin, claws, or ears are treated in dermatology.
Many skin changes are short-lived and can be quickly resolved (e.g., flea infestations, mites). Allergies or autoimmune diseases, however, often require extensive diagnostic work-ups and lifelong therapy.
For an accurate diagnosis of the underlying cause of visible skin changes, we can perform cytologies, skin scrapings, bacteriological or mycological examinations, parasite searches, or surgical biopsies.
Since allergies are also a common reason for a patient’s presentation in dermatology, comprehensive allergy diagnostics are part of our dermatological services.
