Student Clinic Days at our veterinary clinic

Last Saturday, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of dedicated veterinary students to our clinic.

The day was all about learning, sharing ideas, and gaining hands-on experience. Through a variety of lectures and workshops, participants were able not only to deepen their knowledge but also to get hands-on and practice important clinical skills.

Hands-on learning in the daily hospital setting

The program included, among other things:

• introducing a venous catheter
• Sewing Class
• Ultrasound
• Emergency care
• Animal-friendly care at the clinic

The open and enthusiastic atmosphere was particularly wonderful: questions were asked, things were tried out, discussions took place, and everyone learned together. The direct insight into daily hospital life and the interaction with our team provided the students with many exciting insights for their future careers in veterinary medicine.

Break times together & good conversations

Of course, there was plenty of good food to enjoy as well: The day was accompanied by delicious vegan and vegetarian meals, which provided an opportunity for relaxed conversation and getting to know one another.

Events like these consistently demonstrate how important the exchange between clinical practice and academic study is, and just how much enthusiasm and dedication the next generation of veterinarians brings to the table.
