Welcome to Vet Zentrum in Cologne

With our modern veterinary clinic, we offer you a 24-hour facility for comprehensive care of your pet. The foundation of every treatment at our clinic is a thorough examination of the observed problem in order to establish the most accurate diagnosis possible. This is discussed with you in detail so that a targeted therapy can be initiated.

Our 90-member team, consisting of diplomates, specialist veterinarians, veterinarians in specialist training, veterinary medical assistants, and veterinary assistant trainees, follows exclusively the latest medical findings. Furthermore, at Vet Zentrum Cologne, we place great emphasis on low-stress handling of your pet. For this reason, we offer, for example, separate waiting areas and treatment rooms for dogs and cats during consultation hours. The specialized cat ward is also located in a separate area of the clinic.

Emergency Service – We are here for you!

Our clinic’s emergency service is available to you and your pet 24 hours a day, all year round. Treatment is provided exclusively according to medical urgency and at the discretion of the treating veterinarian (triage).

We therefore ask you to use the emergency service, if possible, only for life-threatening or serious illnesses and to hand over any existing documents at reception to enable a quick and accurate assessment of your pet’s condition.

Due to the increasingly limited emergency service availability in the North Rhine district and the resulting increased patient volume at our clinic, considerable waiting times (4-6 hours) must be expected for patients with non-life-threatening conditions.

Billing is based on the GOT at a significantly increased rate plus the mandatory emergency service fee.

SAFE CLINIC™-certified – Your trust is important to us

Our clinic is proud to be certified as a SAFE CLINIC™. This seal stands for the highest hygiene standards and the use of state-of-the-art automated disinfection technology.

What does SAFE CLINIC™ mean for you and your pet?

In our clinic, we use the innovative dry gas disinfection technology from Decon-X. An automated system distributes the disinfectant evenly throughout the entire room and on all surfaces – more thoroughly than manual wiping could ever achieve. This creates an environment in which you can feel safe and your pet is in the best hands.

Your benefits at a glance:

Higher hygiene standards: The fully automated disinfection demonstrably eliminates more bacteria and viruses than conventional methods.
Gentle disinfection: The process does not use harmful chemicals and is safe for animals and humans.
More time for your pet: Since our team spends less time on manual cleaning, more time remains for what really matters – caring for your beloved pet.

The SAFE CLINIC™ certification is regularly reviewed. This ensures that our high hygiene standards are maintained permanently.
