Heart study in dogs – participants wanted!

Does your dog suffer from heart disease?

As part of a clinical study for an additional therapy option to treat myxomatous mitral valve disease (MMVD), our clinic is looking for suitable patients.

Benefits for you and your dog:

• Possible slowing of the disease progression
• Free study therapy and veterinary visits

Study eligibility

• Your dog is at least 6 years old and weighs between 2.5 – 20 kg
• Your dog has been diagnosed with heart disease within the last 9 months (MMVD Stage C)
• Your dog is in a stable condition and is already receiving standard therapy at a stable dosage

Scheduled clinic visits and examinations:

• 7 visits during the 12-month study period (Day 0, Day 7, Day 30, Day 90, Day 180, Day 270, Day 360)
• Scheduled examinations: cardiac ultrasound, lung X-ray, blood pressure measurement, laboratory tests (blood and urine)
